StarChem Ltd is a company selling products on the automotive market. They have been trading now for 47 years.
When designing the website, the company wanted to focus 100% on the presentation of products created for the automotive industry. It is not a typical eCommerce store, but a product catalog.
Before designing the website, we did mock-ups and listened to the customer's requirements - after the initial audit, and we entirely selected the tools - we decided to use CMS Joomla and our component DJ-Catalog2 for product presentation.
The company decided to order comprehensive implementation from us, together with the graphic design.
As the main element of the front page, the company decided to highlight only one element - a slider. We used our DJ-MediaTools add-on for it.
The site also required news - just for this section ideally suited to the core function of articles in Joomla. It performs all its features without modification.
An additional challenge was the addition of the multilingual function. The site is presented in English, French, Estonian, German, and Portuguese.
